Arsenal have enquired about Lisandro Martínez of Argentina and Ajax.

Lisandro Martínez could be leaving Ajax with several clubs interested. FC Barcelona and Manchester United have been linked with the Argentine.

Martínez is now being linked with a move to Arsenal. According to The Athletic UK, the club have enquired about the 24 year old defender.

The Argentine joined Ajax back in 2019 from Defensa y Justicia and has become a starter for the club.

Roberto Ayala is pretty much the same height as him but I don’t remember anyone not interested in Ayala because of his height.

Arsenal will be good for him. They made the second worst signing of EPL last year Ben White for £50 billion (£10 billion more than Cuti) after Jack Grealish. Arsenal still need more help defensively. However, Lautaro won’t be an automatic starter for Arsenal. He will have to face some competition.

It will be better if he plays in premier League. Dutch league is not competitive enough. Plus pressure will be huge in England
