Media started Argentina’s 3-0 win against Algeria where Lionel Messi scored all three goals. Speaking to the media after the match, here is what Medina had to say:
“It’s always a source of pride to wear this shirt and to represent my country and my family. A lot of emotion for this first match and for Leo’s three goals.
“Messi makes it so easy, we see him every day. It’s unnecessary to add anything else, everyone knows what he is. Now, let’s keep going step by step.”
True. He was decent. But it was noticeable that the other players did not pass to him many times during build up even though he was in good positions. A fit Tagli badly needed as we meet stronger opposition. Full Back position continues to be our biggest worry.
Thank god that this guy is not as bad as feared. He is confident. And did well actually.
