  1. The 3 players Paredes, Tagliafico, and Alvarez that Scaloni brought in are playing well. The rest of the midfield have been subpar, atleast Macca has improved a bit, meanwhile Enzo is anonymous and De Paul keeping misplacing passes as expected. This team is no longer playing with hunger, desperately need Paz and Barco to be incorporated in the lineup

  2. Can’t belive this Egypt had one shot at target and it was headed in. We had 3 MAJOR SHOT ON TARGET and Egypt’s keeper saved them all! Tagliafigo, Mac and Alvarez has been the best so far and ENZO’s pass was good for Tagliafigo, which led to penalty, but he has to play better. We might need Paz, Lo Celso and maybe Flaco, but i fear Scaloni does not have the ball’s to make change’s…. TaKe De Paul out please! Bring Paz

    • Because Argentina are like statues and it was obvious it was coming they Lee doing this and debu is a agent fool who cares more about his hair dye

His laziness is mind boggling at times that ball was floating in the air a long time he still didn’t react

    • Scaloni is $h1t from the beginning, his strength only know how to make messi happy. The rest was messi and those youngbloods hunger. Now all gone. Look at those player selection as if argentina lack of talents.

  3. Would be so cruel to lost to Egypt. Messi should have given penalty to Alvarez and Egypt goal keeper saved certain goal of Alvarez. May be end is near Neymar, Ronaldo & Messi losing to Egypt is disgrace itself

  4. Two attempts on goal with zero placements: Alvarez and MacAllister. The writing is on the wall. A devastating night. Losing is part of the game. But you lose against a top tier team, one can understand. But you let this team toy with your defence aerially … the team does not deserve to be the winner. Now the blood bath would begin. All the good things that we have been building since 2018 would crumble like house of cards.

  5. De Paul only mispasses, Enzo slight better but no edge. Macca and Leo Paredes is doing good. Julian or some one get a goal today, Messi looks drained and not in his special best today. Egypt are well prepared for the vertical passes and through lobs, physically much ahead of us. Well did i say unlucky and a super goealie who has his reflexes on spot.

  6. Messi (super tired because of last game), Enzo, Molina and Lisandro (yes, Lisandro) are the worst on pitch today and of course the clueless Scaloni. He simply doesn’t know what to do with a team which is so rusty, so out of form. He would still not give chance to younger, hungrier and speedier ones.

  7. 2+1 is the same as 1+2. You can move the shit around to any part of the field you want but it’s still shit. Mainly DePaul, Enzo, and a few others. Have your pick. Why was anybody worried about Barco or Paz? They aren’t playing with this manager. Zero wing play. Zero passion, speed, intensity. Messi forgot how to make a fucking penalty all of a sudden. Manager stepping in to help him out? Nope. This World Cup is nothing but an homage to Messi for Scaloni. Maybe it’s better to go home than have Columbia score 5 on us. These guys have no interest in running yet alone playing. And the tactics are awful.

    • Messi at timeless occasions at barca gives penalty to his teammates yet in argentina never did he do that even that miss against austria i thought he will give that to martinez to support him to be form today also i was wishing to give it pardees or alverz to have their first worldcup goal this season

  8. So our journey is coming to an end tonight. Sad. If Messi misses a penalty, if his freekick hits the sidepost and if the opponent goalkeeper is so so good, the fate becomes clear. We should give a last try by bringing in Barco or Paz in place of Enzo. He has been abysmal. But Scaloni won’t do that. He would still keep faith on his emotional attachment to the winners from the past.

  9. Argentina creating there own problems on repeat stop turning into statues THATS EXACTLY WHAT THE OPPOSITION ARE HOPING FOR

EGIPT knew they would do that and planned for it

Take advantage wen Argentina stand still around there box scared OK BOSS

    BOOM

    Not rocket science is it

  10. If we come back from 1–0 down and win this, it will be a historic first for Argentina in a World Cup knockout game. Fingers crossed! I am not prepared to exit so early! Please futbaling god help us! Scaloni fcuked up big time today by not starting Nico.G.

  11. Scaloni has not integrated young talent after wining the WC in 2022. History has shown that you would fail miserably if you play with same winning squad, let alone if they are aging. Team harmoney and family feeling don’t save you in those moments, talents and skills do; basic football blueprint.

  12. DePaul and paredes together will not work. We are in 2026 not 2021. Changes are urgently needed , simeone needed to inject the pace and barco replace either Enzo or Macalister. Molina what a disaster.

  13. Scaloni has to bring in Nico.G in the half time break and may be Nico Paz too! Even with 4 midfielders we are being outplayed in the midfield and Messi wtf what that!!

Also, has Argentina come back from a goal to win a match in any world cup knockout game?

  14. Scaloni is giving too much respect to Egypt like they are France by using 4-4-2 formation. Just play with three attackers to kill the game early and qualify, Egypt is mediocre team, and they are no where close to the level of Morocco. He should have played with Messi, Alvarez and Nico Paz upfront to win the game.

  15. Need Alvarez back to his pressing form and I hope Enzo gets a more “up-the-pitch” role which helped him score more this season. Paredes and DePaul can take up the more defensive roles with their not-so-defensive through passes to build the attacks. Molina remains the weakest link in the team and, may be, just may be, Palacios could have been given the right full back slot.
