Lisandro Martinez will reportedly undergo surgery and could miss up to three months.

Martinez missed Manchester United’s last match due to injury and the club confirmed that he did sustain a setback to an injury which he sustained in April. According to Chris Wheeler from DailyMail, he will undergo a second operation on his broken metararsal on Monday. The surgery would rule him out of action for up to three months.

The Argentina national team play two World Cup qualifying matches in October which he would miss.

Ángel Correa had two goals and Nahuel Molina had one for Atletico Madrid in their 3-2 win vs. Cadiz.

It was an early 2-0 lead for Cadiz when Azpilicueta crossed the ball into the penalty area and Correa headed the ball into the back of the goal. Early in the second half, the ball fell to Nahuel Molina inside the penalty area and he scored to draw Atletico level.

Correa would score the goal that would give Atletico the win. A low pass into the penalty area and the Argentine would score from close range to give Atletico the 3-2 lead.

Nicolás Domínguez scored his first goal for Nottingham Forest in their 1-1 draw vs. Brentford.

Domínguez got his first goal for his new club, a header to get Forest back into the game. With Brentford leading 1-0 and with Forest playing with 10 men, it was a cross into the penalty area and it was the Argentine who scored to draw them level.

The 25 year old joined Forest from Bologna in the last transfer window. Gonzalo Montiel was an unused substitute for Nottingham Forest.

Martínez started the match as a substitute for Inter but changed the entire outcome when he was brought on. With the score at 0-0, the Argentine was brought on for Inter and scored the four goals in the game.

The Argentine now has nine goals and two assists in seven league matches as he is Inter’s top scorer.

Álvarez now has two free kick goals for Manchester City, this one a well placed effort. The Argentine continues to be one of Manchester City’s best players, if not their best player.

With Wolves leading 1-0, Manchester City were awarded a free kick and it was the World Cup winner who took it and scored to draw City level. Wolves would score minutes later and win the match but it was another solid performance by the Argentine.

The 23 year old has three goals and four assists in seven matches in the Premier League, starting in all seven games.
