Lionel Messi was presented the MLS Golden Boot award.

Messi was given the Golden Boot award prior to him scoring two goals for Inter Miami in their 3-1 win against Nashville in the MLS Playoffs. The 38 year old was presented the award by MLS Commissioner Don Garber.

The Argentine scored 29 goals in 28 regular season games with Inter Miami.

Lionel Messi scored twice for Inter Miami in their 3-1 win against Nashville.

Messi had two goals in Inter Miami’s win against Nashville in the MLS Playoffs to give them the 1-0 lead in the best of three series. The first team to reach two wins in the three matches will qualify for the next round of the MLS Playoffs.

With the score at 0-0, it was a cross into the penalty area by Luis Suárez which found Messi and he would score a header to give Inter Miami the 1-0 lead. At 1-0, Messi would play a pass in to Fray who would cross it to Tadeo Allende and he would score a header for Inter Miami’s second goal of the match.

At 2-0 for Inter Miami, Jordi Alba would cross inside the penalty area but it was spilled by the goalkeeper. Messi would be the first to the ball and the Argentine would score his second goal of the match.

Nasvhille would score one but Inter Miami would win and take the lead in their series. Rodrigo De Paul also started the match for Inter Miami while Mateo Silvetti was substituted into the match.

The Argentine was awarded the MLS Golden Boot before the match.



Argentina national team to play Angola in only friendly match of November

The Argentina national team will play Angola in their only friendly match of November.

Lionel Scaloni’s team is going to play only one match in November. Argentina will train in Spain and will play on November 14 against Angola.

This would mean that the Argentina national team will not be travelling to India for their rumored friendly match.

Lionel Messi and Inter Miami will play Nashville on Friday in their first game in this year’s MLS Playoffs.

Messi, Rodrigo De Paul and Inter Miami are going to play against Nashville in their first match in their best of three series. Both teams played each other in the last game of the regular season where Lionel Messi scored a hat trick and had one assist in Inter Miami’s 5-2 win to win the league’s Golden Boot as top goal scorer.

Osvaldo Godoy of Mundo Albiceleste will be present at the match and Mundo Albiceleste will have a live discussion prior to the game at Chase Stadium in Florida. Both Messi and Rodrigo De Paul are fit and expected to play.

Inter Miami announced on Thursday that Messi renewed his contract with the club. The match begins at 8:00 pm Eastern.

Paulo Dybala scored for AS Roma in their 2-1 loss against Viktoria Plzeň.

Dybala got his first goal, scoring in the Europa League. Viktoria Plzeň took a 2-0 lead and AS Roma were awarded a penalty kick.

It was the Argentine who took it and Dybala went to the goalkeepers left as the goalkeeper went to the right and he scored. Dybala played the entire match for AS Roma while Matías Soulé also started the game but was substituted out.
