2

Gonzalo HIGUAIN netted for Juventus while Lionel MESSI, Angel DI MARIA and Emiliano SALA all scored as well.

The race at the top of the Serie A standings is getting tighter and tighter. HIGUAIN reached double digits as he scored his 10th Serie A goal in 21 matches. A close ranger header added to the old lady’s lead as they picked up a 2-0 win against Chievo.

Lionel MESSI continues to score when he feels like it. Barcelona fell behind to a Deportivo Alaves goal in the first half and their undefeated La Liga streak looked to have been coming to an end. Luis SUAREZ equalised in the second half for the Catalan club and it took a Lionel MESSI free kick (his 36th of his career) to secure the 2-1 win.

Angel DI MARIA’s scoring form has carried over once more as he scored the third in PSG’s 4-0 win against Montpellier.

Still in France, Emiliano SALA scored goal number eight of the season for himself as Nantes picked up a 3-0 win against Guingamp.
