Paulo DYBALA scored once more for Juventus in their 1-0 win against Bologna.

The Argentine has scored for a second consecutive Serie A match, this time a left footed shot from inside the penalty area. DYBALA was a substitute and brought on in place of Alex SANDRO. The goal was his fourth of the season.

Argentina have been drawn in Group F at the U20 FIFA World Cup.

The draw has been done for the tournament in Poland and Fernando BATISTA’s boys know who they will play against. Portugal, Korea Republic and South Africa will be Argentina’s opponents in the group stages. Here are the groups:

Group A:
Poland, Colombia, Tahiti, Senegal

Group B:
Mexico, Italy, Japan, Ecuador

Group C:
Honduras, New Zealand, Uruguay, Norway

Group D:
Qatar, Nigeria, Ukraine, United States of America

Group E:
Panama, Mali, France, Saudi Arabia

Group F:
Portugal, Korea Republic, Argentina, South Africa

Dario BENEDETTO will reportedly be called-up to the Argentina team for the matches in March.

Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI apparently has a surprise up his sleeve in the form of Boca Juniors forward BENEDETTO. The Argentina took part in the last World Cup Qualifying matches but due to injury missed out on the FIFA World Cup.

With captain Lionel MESSI expected to be back in the squad, TyC Sports are reporting that coach SCALONI will not be including goalkeeper Sergio ROMERO and Angel DI MARIA isn’t a sure lock to be included.

Other names which are not guaranteed to be included are those of German PEZELLA as the defender has injury problems. The others are that of Mauro ICARDI and Gonzalo MARTINEZ.

The matches take place on March 22 and March 26 against Venezuela and Morocco. The call-up list will be released on 3 March, that is to say next Sunday.

Lionel MESSI scored hat trick number 50, while reaching 650 goals in his career in FC Barcelona’s 4-2 win against Sevilla.

It really was the Lionel MESSI show. The captain lead and had one of his best matches of the season. Three different goals but all world class. With Sevilla up 1-0, a cross was sent into the area and Lionel MESSI with a lovely volley into the corner of the net drew Barcelona level.

Gabriel MERCADO gave Sevilla the lead as the Argentina scored from inside the penalty area. Lionel MESSI was at it again, this team a right footed goal. The third was a chip over the goalkeeper.

Nice coach Patrick VIERA has stated that Walter BENITEZ should be in the Argentina team.

The France legend knows a thing or two about football. A World Cup and European Cup winner, the Nice coach knows talent when he sees it. VIERA, currently coaching Walter BENITEZ at Nice, has stated that he would like to see his goalkeeper in the Argentina team.

“I hope BENITEZ gets called up to the Argentina national team. For what he has shown since the start of the season, he deserves to be seen. The Argentina national team is a goal, a dream for him.”
