Argentina’s plays its third of three matches tonight against Mexico.

The U23 team plays its final match before the Olympics against arguably the most difficult team of the three and gold winners at the 2012 Olympics. The match is at 9:00pm local time (use Time Zone to find the kick-off time in your area) and has the following TV listings:

Sergio AGUERO scored for Manchester City in their 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.

AGUERO scored the first goal under the Pep GUARDIOLA reign in what in all likely will not be his last. Willy CABALLERI and Nicolas OTAMENDI started the match for City with Sergio AGUERO and ZUCULINI on the bench. Pablo ZABALETA did not make the match squad.

Speaking at a press conference, Diego SIMEONE commented on the possibility of someone coaching the Argentina National Team on a part-time basis and also spoke about his future. Here’s what he had to say:

About coaching at a club and National Team part time:
“No one has done it, possibly in the future it can be something that can actually happen because many coaches would like that but can’t do it due to contractual obligations to their clubs. With time, it may be a possibility.”

About his future:
“I’m young and my future could take me to different leagues. We have challenges and the English league and Italian league seduce me.”

About the Champions League loss:
“The loss in the Champions League final felt like a death and every death needs a time of mourning.”

Ricardo LA VOLPE wants to coach Argentina

According to a report, Ricardo LA VOLPE wants to coach the Argentina National Team.

Televisa Deportes in Mexico are stating that LA VOLPE’s entourage approached AFA staff (those with the Olympic team in Miami) about LA VOLPE wanting to coach the National Team. Per the report, LA VOLPE has a project in place not only for Russia 2018 but also the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

It appears as though his objective is to start working with the youth teams, from U17 to U20 and that money wouldn’t be a problem.
