OFFICIAL : Pocho Leaves For China

Ezequiel LAVEZZI has been linked with a possible move away from Paris but much to everyone’s surprise (or maybe not but we will come back to that part later) he has chosen to sign with Chinese Super League side Hebei Fortune.

The official announcement of this signing was made just about an hour ago. OFFICIAL: Hebei China Fortune have completed the signing of Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi (31) from PSG.

It appears Pocho has signed a 2 year deal worth £23.5 milion and will earn about £400,000 per week wages.

As you all know there has been a massive spending from clubs in China during the month of January with lots of surprise names making their move to the Far East.

With that said, I guess this could be the end for Pocho career with the National Team but then again, wouldn’t surprise me if Tata MARTINO still thinks he has a place with the Albiceleste.

Changes coming to Mundo Albiceleste!

0

Hello everyone!

As you can tell, there’s been lack of updates lately and we apologize for that but there’s a good reason.

Behind the scenes, there’s been a lot of planning for Mundo Albiceleste. Planning for bigger and better things, especially with the Copa America and Summer Olympics coming up and the World Cup Qualifiers already well under way.

That planning and behind the scenes work has taken over the time available for posting news updates and I do apologize for that.

The World Cup Qualifiers resume next month, Tata MARTINO will announce his list of players in a few weeks, the Champions League restarts this week, Olympic news, our players scoring… There’s just so much news to cover and we will be back on top of it, that is a guarantee!

I felt like you, the readers, who make Mundo what it is, deserved to know what was going on and why there’s been a lack of updates lately. I’ve been reading your suggestions and ideas as to what you would like to see on Mundo and hopefully they can all be put out soon.

If you have any specific comments or improvements which you would like to see on Mundo Albiceleste, do let us know by using the Contact Us form at the top of the page or even by replying to this topic.

I can’t say too much as to what we’re working on but we’re working on making Mundo Albiceleste the ONLY news source regarding the Argentina National Team and its players you will EVER need. Changes are coming and thank you for everything!

Thank you,

Roy

Gerardo MARTINO talks MESSI and Argentina

Gerardo MARTINO spoke about Lionel MESSI and the Argentina National Team. Here’s what he had to say about MESSI:

“We need to understand how difficult it is to be Lionel MESSI. Despite being the greatest, MESSI is an ordinary guy. He speaks like a normal guy, he acts like a normal guy. As a normal person, he has family, day-to-day problems in his life, friends and family, the usual.”

“MESSI hasn’t achieved everything yet. It should be clear to everyone that his life isn’t all plain sailing. In football, things don’t always go his way. It’s clear that not having won with Argentina weighs on him.”

“There are no doubts: he plays with the same intensity for club and country.”

“MESSI played great at the Copa America. It’s a tournament where you need to play every 3 or 4 days and he played very well. He’s strong willed – you see how determined he is when he plays for Argentina.”

“And you can even see how determined he is at an event which has nothing to do with Argentina, like the Ballon d’Or which he received for his received for his work at Barcelona.”

“Again he talked about needing to achieve greater success with Argentina.”

About the team not having won a senior trophy in years:

“I don’t know what it was like after the World Cup but I remember the room after the Copa final. If you took a picture of that room, saw those faces, then nobody would argue that these guys lacked emotion after what happened to Argentina.”

“It’s clear that we need to win, collectively, and anyone who works in football knows that it’s difficult to gain true recognition without titles. Unfortunately, this is reality. I do not share this view – for me what’s important is how we tread the path.”
