Four Argentina players are missing from the team for the matches in March due to fitness issues.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni announced his list of players for the March matches against El Salvador and Costa Rica. From that list of names, four players were not included.
Gonzalo Montiel, who scored the penalty that won Argentina the World Cup, is not included. Lisandro Martínez is also not included as he is out due to a knee injury.
Marcos Acuña is also not included, he is out with a hip injury. Guido Rodríguez has been out since December due to an ankle injury and he is not included in the team.
