Argentina national team announced for October qualifiers
The Argentina national team for the October World Cup qualifiers was announced this Wednesday.

The Albiceleste will face Venezuela on Thursday, October 10, and host Bolivia on Tuesday, October 15, at the Estadio Monumental.


Lionel Messi, Nicolás Tagliafico, Leonardo Balerdi, Exequiel Palacios, Thiago Almada, and Nicolás Paz return to the team. Emiliano Martínez, who is suspended, along with Matías Soulé, Ezequiel Fernández, Guido Rodríguez, Valentín Castellanos, Giuliano Simeone, and Valentín Barco are not included.

Nico Paz is set to be called up to the Argentina national team.

Paz will be called up for Argentina for the October World Cup qualifying matches. According to Relevo, the 20 year old will be in the team for the matches against Venezuela and Bolivia.

The Argentina national team will play Venezuela on October 10 and on October 15 will play Bolivia.

Lautaro Martínez scored for Inter in their 4-0 win vs. Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.

Martínez started Inter’s match on the bench but was substituted into in the second half. With the score at 2-0, Taremi passed it to Lautaro inside the penalty area and he would score to give Inter the 3-0 lead.

At 3-0, Lautaro was tackled inside the penalty area and Inter were awarded a penalty kick. Lautaro did not take the penalty as he left it for Taremi who scored.

Ángel Correa scored a late equalizer for Atlético Madrid in their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid on matchday 8 of La Liga.

With Real Madrid leading 1-0 at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium in the fifth minute of added time in the second half, Ángel Correa received a through pass into the penalty box, dribbled past the goalkeeper, and shot into an empty net with his right foot. Although the goal was initially disallowed, VAR confirmed there was no offside, and the goal was awarded to the home team.
