Franco Mastantuono scored a stunning free-kick goal for River Plate in their 2-1 home win against Boca Juniors in the Superclásico of the Argentine Primera División.

At just 17 years old, the Argentine winger is already making headlines and attracting attention from Europe’s top clubs, including Real Madrid. He has earned a starting spot under coach Marcelo Gallardo, and in his first Superclásico, he scored a dream goal — one that he and River Plate fans will remember forever.

In the 25th minute, the home team was awarded a free kick 28 meters from the goal defended by Agustín Marchesín. Mastantuono stepped up and delivered a perfect, powerful shot over the wall, sending the ball straight into the top corner and igniting the celebrations of the more than 85,000 River Plate fans packed into the stadium.

Nicolás González scored for Juventus in their 2-0 win against Monza.

González got his second goal in the league with Juventus in their 2-0 win. With the score at 0-0, the Argentine would score from well outside the penalty area into the bottom corner of the goal to give Juventus the 1-0 lead.

That win brings Juventus into the Champions League with four matches remaining in the league.

Alexis Mac Allister scored for Liverpool and won the 2024-2025 Premier League.

The 26 year old has now won eight titles in his career. With Argentinos Juniors, he won the Primera B Nacional and with Boca Juniors, he won the first division in Argentina.

With Liverpool, it is his second trophy, having previously won the EFL Cup in 2023-2024 and now the Premier League.

With the Argentina national team, Mac Allister won the 2022 World Cup, the 2024 Copa America and the 2022 Finalissima. With the U23 team, he won the 2020 Pre-Oylmpic tournament.

Matías Soulé scored for AS Roma in their 1-0 win against Inter.

Soulé made it five goals for AS Roma this season, four of them coming since the month of February. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to the Argentine inside the penalty area and he scored from close range to give AS Roma the 1-0 lead.

Leandro Paredes started the match on the bench for AS Roma. Lautaro Martínez started the match for Inter while Joaquín Correa came on as a substitute.

Thiago Almada had two assists for Lyon in their 4-1 win against Rennes.

Almada made it one goal and four assists in 13 Ligue 1 matches since joining Lyon. The 24 year old had an assist on the first goal, playing the ball outwide with Malick Fofana’s effort giving Lyon the 1-0 lead.

The Argentine would provide another assist, following a run towards the Rennes penalty area and a pass to Alexandre Lacazette, who would score Lyon’s third goal of the match.

Nicolás Tagliafico also started the match for Lyon.
