Enzo Fernández scores, assists for Chelsea in 2-1 win vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Enzo Fernández scored and assisted for Chelsea in their 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Fernández made it 10 goals for Chelsea, two goals and one assist in his last two Premier League matches. With the score at 0-0, Enzo received the ball outside of the penalty area and his effort beat the goalkeeper to give Chelsea the 1-0 lead.

With Chelsea leading 1-0, it was a cross into the penalty area which found Enzo and he would pass it to Andrey Santos who would score Chelsea’s second goal from close range.

Richarlison would score for Tottenham Hotspur. Alejandro Garnacho was substituted into the match for Chelsea.

Gabriel Heinze and Arsenal have won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Heinze joined Arsenal’s coaching staff in 2025, part of their first team. A 1-0 win for Arsenal against Burnley and Manchester City not winning against Bournemouth has crowned Arsenal as Premier League champions with 82 points.

Argentina national team notifies clubs of 35 players for the World Cup

The Argentina national team have notified clubs of around 35 players that play for European clubs for the World Cup.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff will be cutting their preliminary list of 55 players for the World Cup to 35 players. According to Gastón Edul, European clubs of around 35 players habe been notified and not all 55 players will be brought to Argentina for the training.

Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff are already in Argentina and the plan is to decide on the World Cup team this week.

Emiliano Martínez has compared Aston Villa’s Europa League final to Argentina’s 2021 Copa America final against Brazil.

Martínez and Aston Villa are in the Europa League final on Wednesday against Freiburg, the clubs first final in 45 years. Speaking in an interview with Sports Center Argentina, here is what he had to say:

“We wanted to come to Turkey to play the final. Tomorrow is going to be a great experience.

“I place this final, comparing it to the one’s with Argentina, on the same level as the first Copa America in Brazil.

“It’s Aston Villa’s first final in 45 years, people say it all the time. And they were the same messages I was getting before that final against Brazil at the Copa America.”

Paulo Dybala is open to a move to the Premier League.

Dybala is set to leave AS Roma in June and has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors in the past. According to Sky Sports News, the Argentine is open to a move to the Premier League if he does not renew with AS Roma.

The 32 year old joined AS Roma in 2022 from Juventus and has been linked with a move away from the club.
