The Lionel Messi frenzy in Miami continues with Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, the Hard Rock and Gatorade all getting involved.
Ever since Lionel Messi announced that he was joining Inter Miami in the MLS, the city of Miami has been in a frenzy. And now it’s in the media as well.
Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra was asked at a press conference on Friday during the NBA Finals about Lionel Messi’s arrival to the city. Here is what he had to say:
“It’s exciting! My two sons are just starting to get into soccer so… football. Hopefully we can get a ticket.”
The Hard Rock also welcomed Lionel Messi to Miami lighting up a Bienvenido Messi, Welcome Messi.
Gatorade has also tweeted about it with an image of Messi in an Inter Miami kit with the caption:
“Football completed. Time to complete soccer.”
