Lionel Messi commented on his club future and how he thinks Inter Miami could be his last club.

Messi has played for two clubs in Europe and one in North America. The 36 year old commented on his time in Paris with Paris Saint-Germain and has spoken about his club future. Speaking in an interview with ESPN Argentina, here is what he had to say:

“I’m not ready to leave football, I love playing with the ball.

“There is fear that it will all be over, it was a difficult step to leave Europe. I am aware that there is less to go but I don’t think about it, I enjoy it.

“I think Inter Miami is going to be my last club.”

Lionel Messi spoke about his time with PSG stating that it didn’t turn out the way he had hoped.

Messi only played for two clubs in Europe. The first being FC Barcelona and the second being in Paris with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine won two league titles in his two years at the club. Speaking in an interview with ESPN Argentina, here is what Messi had to say about his time with the club:

“I have nothing against them but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as I had hoped. Personally, I had a hard time with the change. It was very difficult for us. That affects me a lot emotionally. However, while in Paris, the best thing happened to me. I became a world champion.”

“In Paris, the neighbors would ring the doorbell to ask us to keep the noise down; the neighbors were tough. It was 9 or 10 at night.”

Javier Mascherano has stated that Ángel Di María is a top five Argentina player of the last 40-50 years.

Mascherano played alongside Ángel Di María with the Argentina national team at three World Cups and three Copa’s America. The two also won a gold medal together at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing.

Ángel Di María has won the World Cup, Copa America, Finalissima and the Olympic games, scoring in every final. Speaking in an interview with DSports, here is what Javier Mascherano had to say about Di María:

“Taking out Messi and Maradona, for me Di María is in the top 5 best Argentina national team players of the last 40-50 years.”

Di María scored the only goal in Argentina’s last match, a 1-0 win vs. Ecuador. The 36 year old has stated several times that he will step aside from the Argentina national team after the 2024 Copa America.
