Emiliano Martínez is not expected to be called up to the Argentina national team for the match against Angola.

Martínez will not be called-up for the match against Angola and will be rested. According to TyC Sports, Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will not call hin up as he wants to give minutes to the other goalkeepers.

Argentina play Angola on January 14 in Angola but will be training in Spain.

Argentina U17 defeat Belgium 3-2 in World Cup debut

Argentina’s U17 national team started their FIFA U17 World Cup campaign in Qatar with a 3-2 win over Belgium. The team, led by Diego Placente, began Group D with three points.

The match took place at the Mohammed Ghanim Stadium in Doha. Belgium had more control early in the game, but Argentina opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Ramiro Tulián scored from a rebound inside the box. Before halftime, De Kimpe equalized for Belgium with a close-range shot.

In the second half, Stan Naert scored in the 60th minute to put Belgium ahead 2-1. Argentina responded quickly. Facundo Jainikoski made it 2-2 in the 70th minute, and Felipe Esquível scored three minutes later to give Argentina the lead.

Argentina will continue their Group D campaign against Tunisia on Thursday, November 6, and Fiji on Sunday, November 9.

Mastantuono did not train with Real Madrid on Monday and the club confirmed that he suffers from pubalgia and is injured. His recovery will depend on him.

The 18 year old played for Real Madrid in their 4-0 win against Valencia.

Paulo Dybala got injured for AS Roma in their 1-0 loss against AC Milan.

Dybala took a penalty kick for AS Roma in their match against AC Milan but his penalty was saved by Maignan. The 31 year old was substituted out of the match as it appears that he injured himself while taking the penalty kick. AS Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini spoke to DAZN after the match about Dybala. Here is what he had to say:

“Penalty? The worst thing is Dybala’s injury. Now we’ll have to wait and see, but he’ll definitely be back after the break. It’s a shame because Dybala was playing a series of great games. That’s the worst loss of this match.”
