Alexis Mac Allister is being linked with a move to Liverpool.

Mac Allister could soon be moving clubs with a stay in England potentially happening. According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have presented their project along with a financial proposal to the Argentine. Discussions are advancing but an agreement has not yet been reached.

Liverpool have had a number of Argentine players represent them. Maxi Rodríguez, Javier Mascherano, Emiliano Insúa, Sebastián Leto, Gabriel Paletta and Mauricio Pellegrino.

Argentina U20 team named for the 2023 U20 World Cup

The Argentina U20 team has been named for the 2023 U20 World Cup.

Javier Mascherano has named his team for the 2023 U20 World Cup which consists of 21 players. Of those 21 players, six of them play in Europe with only one playing in South America.

From the 21 players, nine of them were part of the Sudamericano which did not directly qualify for the World Cup. Since being named as hosts, Argentina will now play the opening match on May 20 against Uzbekistan.

Their second match is on May 23 against Guatemala with their last group match on May 26 against New Zealand. Here are the 21 players that have been named for the tournament:

Nahuel Molina scored for a second consecutive match with Rodrigo De Paul getting the assist for Atletico Madrid in their 5-1 win vs. Cadiz.

Molina has now scored in two matches in a row for Atletico Madrid, this time with Rodrigo De Paul getting the assist. With Atletico Madrid leading 4-1, it was a Rodrigo De Paul through ball in to Molina and he would score.

A goal made in Argentina by World Cup champions, Rodrigo De Paul is now on two goals and four assists. Ángel Correa was also brought on as a substitute.

Lautaro Martínez scored two goals for Inter in their 6-0 win vs. Verona.

Martínez has now scored five goals in his last three matches for Inter as he added another brace. With the score at 0-0, it was an own goal by Adolfo Gaich which gave Inter the 1-0 lead.

With the score at 3-0, he would receive the ball inside the penalty area and chip the goalkeeper and score his first goal of the match. He would add his second goal of the match late in injury time with another goal from inside the penalty area.

He would have an assist for Inter’s third goal as he would pass it to Dzeko who would score. The Argentine has 19 goals and five assists in 33 matches.

Leandro Paredes scored a free kick for Juventus in their 2-1 win vs. Lecce.

Paredes was back in the starting eleven for Juventus and returned with a goal. It was a wonderfully struck free kick by the Argentine as he curled the ball around the wall and beat the goalkeeper to score and give Juventus the 1-0 lead.

That was Leandro’s first goal of the season. Ángel Di María would also start as both men would be substituted out in the second half.
