AFA president Chiqui Tapia spoke about potentially hosting the 2030 World Cup and the U20 World Cup.

Chiqui Tapia has been at the helm of the AFA for all of Argentina’s recent success. Winning the Copa America, Finalissima and the World Cup, Tapia has been there for it all. Argentina, along with Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay are looking to host the 2030 World Cup and the AFA president spoke about where they are at in regards to hosting the tournament.

Speaking in an interview with Radio LaRed, here is what he had to say:

“Yesterday we signed the FIFA books of conditions to be able to organize the 2030 World Cup and now I think we are going to organize the U20 World Cup.

“The people started to see during Scaloni’s first Copa America, a national team that reflects a lot of what the people wanted. Everything that we are living is beautifully crazy.

“We have a special relationship with Infantino. He respects the AFA, the national team and idolizes the best player in the world.”

Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have submitted a bit for Lionel Messi.

The Best player in the world could be leaving PSG and playing at a new club next season. And according to Okaz/Saudi Gazette, Al-Hilal have made a bid for the Argentine.

Per the report, they made an official offer in the past few hours and it includes all advantages and “meets the demands” of Messi. This comes after a report in the French media that PSG would not want to keep him.

Lionel Messi is set to leave PSG, per a French report.

Messi might not be in Paris next season. According to RMC Sport, PSG are not looking to keep the trip of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. One of them is expected to leave the club and unless things change, it will be Messi leaving.

This comes after many rumors and reports in the media about Lionel Messi’s future. He has been whistled at by PSG fans in recent home league matches.

Matías Soulé speaks about the Argentina U20 team, Alejandro Garnacho

Matías Soulé spoke about the Argentina U20 national team and also commented on Alejandro Garnacho.

Soulé has become part of the Juventus first team this season and part of the Argentina U20 national team. He forms part of the team with players based in Europe or players born in Europe and speaking in an interview with TNT Sports, the 19 year old had this to say:

“We have a Whatsapp group with the guys who went from Europe to the NT. There is Ale (Alejandro Garnacho), Luka Romero, Nico Paz, the Carboni’s (Franco and Valentin), Geralnik. We are all there and today we were talking, hoping that the U20 World Cup is in Argentina for us to go.”

He was also asked about Alejandro Garnacho:

“We didn’t know him, it was the first time with me and we already made him drink mate, we made him speak Argentine, he started to say “eh, boludo” and we got used to it little by little. He bought a mate, I think, we made him and Nico Paz buy a mate.”

Argentina U17 win 1-0 vs. Bolivia, lead Group B in Sudamericano

The Argentina U17 national team won 1-0 vs. Bolivia as they lead Group B at the Sudamericano.

Diego Placente’s team have a commanding lead in the Sudamericano as they made it two wins out of two. After the 4-2 win vs. Venezuela, Argentina played Bolivia.

Valentino Andres Acuña would give Argentina the 1-0 lead. A cross into the penalty area found the midfielder who would score a left footed effort.

Gustavo Hudalgo Albarracin would get red carded and he will miss Argentina’s next match vs. Peru on Thursday. Here are the current standings in Group B:
