Julián Álvarez and Alejandro Garnacho could both start for Argentina.

Álvarez and Garnacho could both be in the starting eleven for Argentina against Indonesia. Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni stated after Argentina’s 2-0 win vs. Australia that the idea is that every one could play.

Argentina play Indonesia on Monday and will be without veterans Lionel Messi, Ángel Di María and Nicolás Otamendi. According to TyC Sports, Garnacho could start in place of the abscent Ángel Di María.

Emiliano Martínez is not guaranteed to start as Gerónimo Rulli could be the goalkeeper for the match. Gio Lo Celso and Leandro Paredes also have chances of being in the starting eleven. Here is the rumored eleven:

The Argentina national team have landed in Indonesia and are without Lionel Messi.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni stated after their 2-0 win vs. Australia that Lionel Messi, Ángel Di María and Nicolás Otamendi will not be travelling with the team for the match. The team has landed in Indonesia where they will be playing their second of two matches against Indonesia on June 19 in Jakarta.

Conflicting reports have come out about Marcelo Gallardo accepting Olympique Marseille’s offer to become their new coach.

Marcelo Gallardo has received an offer to coach Olympique Marseille, according to César Luis Merlo. An updated tweet also states that he has not yet accepted the offer and that he is back in Argentina.

A separate tweet by Le Phocéen states that Gallardo has agreed to become the new coach. No official statement has come out by either Marseille or Gallardo.

Argentina national team players sent messages to Alejandro Garnacho following his debut.

Alejandro Garnacho played his first match for the Argentina national team in their 2-0 win vs. Australia on Thursday and the 18 year old received messages from his team mates. Several of the players took to Instagram to show their support for the youngster.

Garnacho posted on his Instagram pictures of his debut with the caption “and if this is just a dream never wake me up. Beautiful”.

Rodrigo De Paul replied to Garnacho’s Instagram post writing “Vamos aleeee, congratulations”. Garnacho’s Manchester United team mate, Lisandro Martinez, is not with the team due to injury but also showed his support, leaving a message saying “it looks good on you brother”.

Nicolas Otamendi wrote “vamos aleeee, congratulations”. Cristian Romero also replied writing “Now yessss” while Leandro Paredes wrote “vamos guachoooo”.

The Best goalkeeper in the world Emiliano Martinez posted a story on his Instagram account congratulating Garnacho on his first match.
