Giovani Lo Celso will reportedly join Villarreal on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Per Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have reached a full agreement on the Argentine midfielder for a loan with no purchase option. Following this information, the Spurs can interrupt the loan in January of 2023 if they receive an offer for a permanent move.

Without being in coach Antonio Conte’s plans for the upcoming season, Lo Celso will go back to play with his last season’s team, where they reached the UEFA Champions League
semifinals.

Mauro Icardi has been told to find a new club with Manchester United being interested.

Icardi will probably not be remaining with the league champions. PSG coach Galtier stated that the 29 year old should find a new club for this season.

With only a few weeks left until the transfer market closes, PSG are up against time to find him a new club. According to TyC Sports, Manchester United and Galatasaray have both been linked with the Argentine over a potential transfer for him. Here is what PSG coach Galtier had to say:

“The club is working side by side with Mauro to find the best possible solution. He had very little playing time and I think the best thing is to relaunch his career in another more favorable place.”

The FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar will start one day earlier.

FIFA have announced that the World Cup in Qatar will now start on November 20 and not on November 21. Historically, the opening match at the World Cup has always been the host nation.

For the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the opening match did not previously involved Qatar but it was between Senegal and the Netherlands. It has now been made that Qatar play the opening match against Ecuador one day earlier.

Exequiel Zeballos out injured until 2023

Boca Juniors’ winger Exequiel Zeballos got seriously injured in their match against Agropecuario last Wednesday and he will be out at least until February of 2023.

The 20-year-old Argentine talent was severely fouled five minutes after the start of the match and had to be substituted off immediately. “El Changuito” had to be moved in a wheelchair to the provincial clinic after the game.

Today, Boca Juniors released the results of the medical study:
“Exequiel Zeballos: suffered an injury to the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis with injury to the deltoid ligament and avulsion of the posterior malleolus of the right ankle. Surgical treatment is decided.”

Agropecuario’s defender Milton Leyendeker, who fouled Zeballos, publicly apologized and wished a fast recovery for “el Changuito.” At first, the referee showed Leyendeker just a yellow card, but then he corrected himself and showed him the red card.

Gio Simeone will join Napoli from Verona.

Simeone will remain in Italy but join Verona as an agreement has been reached. Per Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between Napoli and Verona for the 27 year old.

He will join on loan for a fee of around €3.5 million with a buy option of €12 million.
