Argentina rumored preliminary list for 2022 World Cup

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni and the AFA will submit their preliminary list of players for the World Cup to FIFA on Friday.

Lionel Scaloni’s preliminary list of players for the World Cup is expected to be close to 50 players. According to Ole Clarin, Thiago Almada and Gio Simeone will both be included.

While the final list has to be announced by November 14, Scaloni will submit his preliminary list on Friday. Per Ole Clarin, this is the preliminary list:

  2. Nico Dominguez I’m happy he is in the preliminary list. Probably won’t make it to WC but he is actually playing great at Bologna. Out of our midfield Dominguez and Enzo got the most Playtime for their Club. Either one won’t make it to the Starting 11 but they play very good.
    I’m pretty certain that our main team is set.

    I’m very excited about the WC and how our new Players like Enzo, Alvarez, Licha are gonna play. That is our future… Although Messi is gonna retire soon we still have a bright future woth the new Players I’m not as scared of the post Messi Era anymore.. We are gonna be great at the WC

  3. Rulli had a very bad game against Barca today. Barca were attacking relentlessly but that did not excuse some big blunders Rulli made..I think he knows he did not do anything to get a spot in the final squad..if it happens it will be because if luck… personally I will not be calm with Rulli in goal

      • “good in penalty shoot out?” Are you judging from Europa Final Villareal vs ManU? I don’t think that makes him good at PK, he didn’t catch any pk, they only won because Degea man u goalie threw is pk away.

  5. No surprises, almost all who have been on the radar made it.

    I don’t expect Marchesin, possibly Musso who may not recover on time, Quarta, Medina, Nico Dominguez, Almada, Ocampos, Alario to make it to the 26.

    For the rest, we can be pretty certain about some players, e.g. our pillars but less certain about others who are more on the periphery of that larger circle.
