Alejandro Garnacho has been named in FourFourTwo’s Top 10 most exciting teenagers in the world.

Garnacho is undoubetedly an exciting talent and one of Argentina’s best young players. He was first called up to the Argentina national team early 2022 and while he did train with the senior team, he did not play with them.

Born in Spain to an Argentine mother, Garnacho first represented Spain at youth level but following his call-up to Argentina, he would play the U20 level for Javier Mascherano’s U20 team. Garnacho took part in the Toulon youth tournament where he was named the revelation of the tournament, part of the tournament’s Best XI and scored the best goal of the tournament.

He would also play for Manchester United’s youth team and now part of their senior squad. The 18 year old continues to do well for his club and has been included in FourFourTwo’s top 50 most exciting teenagers as he made it into eighth place. Here are the top ten:

10: Carney Chukwuemeka (England, Chelsea)
9: Harvey Elliott (England, Liverpool)
8: Alejandro Garnacho (Argentina, Manchester United)
7: Romeo Lavia (Belgium, Southampton)
6: Youssoufa Moukoko (Germany, Borussia Dortmund)
5: Endrick (Brazil, Palmeiras)

  1. So in FOUR FOUR TWO top 50 there is only ONE Argentine: Garnacho. Let’s see if they are correct. As for the Garnacho spot, I think he should be 6th not 8th. Only the first 5 have better career than him so far.

Brazil believe Endrick is the next big thing. Madrid are collecting all Brazilian talents now. Sadly Brazil itself never won the WC since 2002 and QF has been their best achievement despite being the tournament favorite in every single world cup.

I have a dream that in 2026, Garnacho will challenge Mbappe in the final. Lets hope Garnacho develops to be as good as Mbappe.

In WC U20 2023, only England, Italy, France, Israel, and Slovakia make it (only 5 European teams) so we will not see Musiala, Sesko, Moukoko Gavi, Lavia. We will see Bellingham and Elliot only.

Intresting indeed as as u said only 5 European teams , so may i ask how many will be able to Qualify from SA and how many countries in total will play in WC U20 2023 ?

  2. Nico Tagliafico: “After Mbappe’s penalty, all the pressure was on the first taker, if Leo missed, we would definitely lose. I was shitt*ng.. very nervous, but Leo kicked calmly as if he were kicking with his son Mateo in the garden…”

  3. According to CIES, Facundo Kruspzky is one of the best promising u21 player in the world..! They have mentioned many Argentine players..all expected names.. but this guy..!
I just watched some highlights..he looks good in many areas.Anyone has any idea about him..? Hopefully he will join an European team and develop there.
Kruspzky can play for Argentina or Polland.
