Lionel Scaloni named 2022 IFFHS Men’s World Best National Team coach

Lionel Scaloni has been named the 2022 IFFHS Men’s World Best National Team coach.

Scaloni finished with 240 points, ahead of second place Didier Deschamps with 45 points. The Argentine manager won the 2022 Finalissima and the World Cup.

His award goes with Lionel Messi who won three IFFHS awards. The first and second being the Men’s Best International Goalscorer and the World’s Best Player and the most recent is the World’s Best Playmaker award.

    also we need to catch up on those 4 copa finals we lost which we should have won.

  2. Well deserved. I have criticised him a lot, and for good reason (in my opinion anyway). But there is no denying the massive improvement he and his legendary bros (Aimar, Samuel, Ayala) have brought to Argentina defense and midfield, and particularly to Leo Messi’s comfort with the national team.

    It is no easy feat to keep a team together all the way to the ultimate prize after such a disastrous start.
