Scaloni is not someone who will just pick players from big leagues or big teams. He picks players based on their strengths and need of the team. I am sure there is a reason he didnt pick Senesi! However I am still to be convinced by the selection of Pezella. Best time to pick him was the 2018 world cup, when he was at his peak but we went will Rojo but now he is not someone who will get better. I don’t see him starting matches and he is unable to close matches. He is just a liability! An experienced defender making rookie mistake almost cost us a quarterfinal defeat in the world cup.
