Lionel Messi speaks on Nico Paz and Valentín Carboni

Lionel Messi spoke about Nico Paz and Valentín Carboni.

Messi spoke to the media after Argentina’s 6-0 win vs. Bolivia where he scored three goals and had two assists in the South American World Cup qualifiers. After commenting on the support he gets from the fans, Messi also commented Nico Paz, who made his Argentina national team debut. Here is what he had to say:

“Nico has a lot of quality and understands the game perfectly. He has an incredible mindset, and he’s with a coach who is my friend (Cesc Fàbregas) and will help him grow a lot.”

He also commented on Valentín Carboni who tore his ACL earlier while with the Argentina team.

“Unfortunately, we recently lost Carboni to an injury, and we send him all our support. Today, Nico (Paz) made his debut and he also plays really well and is important to us. He has an incredible mindset and that’s why he’s where he is.”
