Lionel Messi scored twice for Inter Miami in their 4-1 win against Montreal.

Messi was in the starting eleven for Inter Miami and had two goals and one assist in the win. Montreal would take an early 1-0 lead after only two minutes but Messi would assist Allende who would score and draw Inter Miami level

At 1-1, Messi receiced the ball out wide, cut inside and his effort beat the goalkeeper to give Inter Miami the 2-1 lead. At 2-1, Segovia would score Inter’s third goal.

Just two minutes later, Messi would score a goal only he can score. Running towards the Montreal back line, the Argentine would dribble several Montreal players and score his second goal of the match.
