Giuliano Simeone, Diego Simeone, Nico Paz and Pablo Paz to make Argentina World Cup history

Giuliano Simeone, Diego Simeone, Nico Paz and Pablo Paz will make father and son history with the Argentina national team at the World Cup.

Simeone and Paz are part of the 26 players called-up by Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni and they will make World Cup history. Their respective fathers, Diego Simeone and Pablo Paz, were team mates with the Argentina national team at the 1998 World Cup when they were called up by coach Daniel Passarella.

They will become the first players in Argentina national team history to be the sons of former team mates at a World Cup with Argentina.
