Argentina midfield expected to start vs. Algeria at World Cup

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is set to start four players in midfield against Algeria at the World Cup.

Lionel Scaloni could be going with four in midfield. According to Gastón Edul, Scaloni is set to start Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister and Thiago Almada against Algeria.

  1. He is going for the strong hold- control in the game. Algeria would try to be fast but I guess slowing them down would be a good option. I think its safe to play 4 midfield to kick start the tournament. Scaloni not taking any chances this time around. I am sure he will change according to the opponents and necessities during the different stages of the tournament. I trust him. He is the best.
