  1. I think England won’t be able to play their usual game today. The inclusion of Simeone and González will give an extra advantage to the forwards. I hope it will be another exciting match. I heard many Latin American teams today are rooting for England. I know we Argentines boast about our European identity rather than our Latin one. Argentina is rich both financially and in football talent compared to any other Latin American country, so we don’t need their support.

  2. Seeing this world cup one thing is sure scaloni is not that great a manager we thought he is.even in last wc some of his decisions were questionable.put him in any national team or any club he will flop big time.only credit of him he created a system around messi and messi and some talented young players bailed him out numerous times.i hope scaloni prove me wrong tonight.but reaching semi by playing cabo verde, egypt, switzerland is no big fear.our path is super easy and it’s a big failure if we can’t reach final atleast.if we loose today we will be the laughing stock of the world media.the all respect we earned because of the winning the world cup will be erased in a moment

  3. Molina is our weakest defender.he is shit.maximum goals we conceded due to his bad positioning or not covering the spaces.why molina still starting and why we are playing same midfield is beyond me.we are cooked guys time to pack our bags.this is the end of the road i assume if not messi or Alvarez save our ass.scaloni tactics are so bad this wc.enzo and mcallister midfield can’t do shit and paredes can’t do everything still no young blood even locelso could have helped but no scaloni is trying to get us knocked out.we were lucky we played some damn mediocre sides up until now and we couldn’t even dominate algeria or austria.england also has their problems but they will eat molina alive and i don’t think our midfield can contain Bellingham or kane with this lineup.so disappointing

  4. So, the same old team after all. What exactly are the “changes” everyone has been talking about? Molina and Nico’s inclusion aren’t a surprise. England would have prepared for them anyway.

At Atlético, Nico hasn’t been a regular starter. Against top-quality opposition, we’ve also seen his limitations—Lamine Yamal exposed them quite clearly. Nico brings energy and relentless running, but creativity in tight spaces, composure in the final third, and recovery pace are not really his strongest attributes.

His standout performance remains the Copa América final. Beyond that, most of his appearances have been defined more by lungs than by craft. Against an England side that thrives on pace and quick transitions, Argentina needed a genuine tactical surprise. I’m not convinced this is it.

    • You guys buy too much into what is said in those pre-match conferences. Scaloni has not intent forwhatsoever to change his starting 11. By making major changes, he meant one change and that is Nico to start instead of coming of the bench. In Scaloni’s definition, is considered a major change.
