Lionel MESSI scored for Barcelona in their 4-4 draw against Villarreal.
Another Barcelona match, another Lionel MESSI goal. With the league leaders up 2-0, Vilalrreal drew level and took a 4-2 advantage. Only three minutes left in the match, Barcelona were awarded a free kick.
MESSI took the free kick and his shot went off the post and into the net. At 4-3, Luis SUAREZ scored with the last kick of the game to draw Barcelona level.
Ramiro FUNES MORI played the entire match for Villarreal.
Giovanni SIMEONE scored for Fiorentina in their 1-1 draw against Torino.
The Argentine scored goal number six of the season in Serie A. SIMEONE was one on one with the goalkeeper as he dribbled around him and scored the opening goal of the match. German PEZZELLA did not take part in the match.
SIMEONE will be hoping to make Argentina’s squad for the Copa America after having been left out of the matches against Venezuela and Morocco last month.
Lionel MESSI scored two goals for FC Barcelona in their 2-0 win against Espanyol.
MESSI has scored yet another sublime goal. FC Barcelona were awarded a free kick on the edge of the penalty area after MESSI was fouled. Up stepped MESSI and with a panenka chip, scored the free kick.
He would score a second, a lovely counter attack goal.

Ever BANEGA gave an interview with Ataque Futbolero on radio.
The Argentine expressed his desire to play at this year’s Copa America while also giving his thoughts on the lack of trophies as well as Lionel MESSI and Juan RIQUELME. Here’s what he had to say:
“If one day I am called up, I would welcome it. I see myself for the Copa America but not for the World Cup in Qatar, no.”
On not winning a trophy with Argentina:
“We value everything that we did because it cost us a lot. We always went forward and I can’t take anything away from us. We all wanted the same thing but it wouldn’t happen. Now there’s a new road and hopefully it goes well.”
BANEGA also spoke about Lionel MESSI and Juan RIQUELME:
“Enjoy MESSI because when MARADONA stopped playing, no one thought we would get to see another alien like Leo. Hopefully he can bring the Copa America title.
“I would have liked to have seen MESSI and RIQUELME play more time together.”
Sergio AGUERO scored in Manchester City’s 2-0 win against Fulham.
Pep GUARDIOLA’s team continue to score and continue to win with AGUERO being the star man in the first half. A goal and an assist takes Manchester City at the top of the league table. It took just five minutes for City to score the opening goal with Bernardo SILVA scoring off a Sergio AGUERO pass.
AGUERO would make it 2-0 in the first half off a very difficult angle. His goal means that he has scored the same amount of goals for Manchester City as Thierry HENRY did for Arsenal. But AGUERO did it in 46 fewer games.
He was substituted off early in the second half but no news on if he is injured or not.
Sergio Aguero has now scored same number of goals for Manchester City as Thierry Henry did for Arsenal.
