In regards to the finals lost, here’s what he had to say:

“We have been called failures for making three straight finals and not winning them, one of those a World Cup.

“For me failing is something else, but now let them take care of the new players, a lot of people enjoy criticising more than supporting.”

Paulo DYBALA talks about Argentina victory: “The team won and gave it their all”

Paulo DYBALA spoke about his team’s 1-0 victory while also discussing the weather.

Anyone who watched the match will have seen the it wasn’t the best of weathers as the wind played a big factor. Speaking after the win, here’s what DYBALA had to say:

“The weather didn’t help anything because the wind would constantly change. First, we would have it against us and after that in our favor. In the second half, it was always against us and it made it easier for them because they started coming in with long balls. It wasn’t easy to play, the pitch was very dry as well.

“One doesn’t like to make excuses but they are things that play against you. You have to remember that the team won and gave it their all.”

Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI talks team, Copa America following win

Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI spoke to the press following his team’s 1-0 win.

The coach stated that he has 70% of the Copa America list completed and gave his impressions on the victory. Here’s what he had to say:

“From a play point of view, logically, I can’t say much. But in terms of the attitude and the desire, they were incredible. Comparing this match with the one from the other day, we are happy not just because of the result but because we were superior in our play, that is important.”

When asked if the formation we saw today would be the one used at the Copa America:

“Yes, what do I know? You guys are so focused on the formation. We don’t believe that it’s the most important thing.”

SCALONI also spoke about ZARACHO who was a substitute:

“ZARACHO played 15 minutes and they were 15 incredible minutes. He connected with the attack and you wouldn’t be able to tell it was his debut. It’s the best thing that could happen to a coach.

“I believe I have 70% of the list completed, today for example I could put ZARACHO.”

Angel CORREA goal wins it as Argentina get 1-0 victory against Morocco

The second half was less violent and did manage to bring a goal. Angel CORREA received the ball at the edge of the penalty area and scored to give Argentina their first win in 2019 and a boost in confidence.
