Leandro PAREDES is currently being linked with a move to PSG.

Per a report by News in Russia, the French club would have submited a bid to Zenit of €33 million for PAREDES. However, there are reports that Zenit have turned it down and would want to receive a bid of €44 million. The Argentina man has been the subject of a move away from Russia for the past few weeks and with the January transfer window coming up, the rumors have intensified.

The French league champions are reportedly looking and reinforcing their midfield and PAREDES is one of the names being mentioned.

Matias ZARACHO is currently being linked to Atletico Madrid, with a move potentially happening in January.

Per a report by Radio Continental, Diego SIMEONE is interested in signing the Argentina U20 midfielder. Atletico have reportedly been following the player for some time and would be keen on signing him after missing out on Lautaro MARTINEZ.

Former Boca Juniors boss Guillermo Barros SCHELOTTO is set to manage MLS club LA Galaxy.

Per reports coming out in the media, the general manager of the LA Galaxy, Dennis te KLOESE has reached an agreement with SCHELOTTO. This would be SCHELOTTO’s third job as coach, having previously managed Lanus and Boca Juniors.

He is no stranger to MLS, as he played for 3 years with the Columbus Crew.

AFA president Claudio TAPIA spoke about Lionel MESSI and hinted that the FC Barcelona man will be back with the Argentina national team.

Speaking on the official AFA website, president Claudio TAPIA mentioned MESSI and stated that he would like to see him back. Here’s what he had to say:

“Lionel MESSI never left the Argentina national team. I believe that the love which he has for the shirt is so great that when he will be called, he’ll be there. I have no doubt about it. I know that it depends on the coach, it doesn’t depend on him.

“It makes me happy for what he represents because he represents our country. He is the best player in the world, without a doubt.”

TAPIA saw MESSI last month and here’s what he had to say about their talk:

“I saw him very happy, very content. Hopefully he will be there in the next call-up for us to be able to enjoy him.”

From finishing 5th in the France Football Ballon d’Or ranking to his the rivalry with Cristiano RONALDO, MESSI spoke about it. Here’s what he had to say:

“I love football, but family is above everything.”

On his rivalry with Cristiano:

“It was a nice time that we went through together during that competition. Each one tried to  win for his team and the rivalry with Cristiano was very healthy and very beautiful for the spectators.”

Lionel MESSI on the Ballon d’Or:

“I knew I wasn’t going to win it this year. When I heard the names of the candidates, I knew it wouldn’t be me and after that I didn’t want to see if I’d finish third or fourth.”
