Geronimo RULLI of Real Sociedad is apparently wanted by Italian Serie A club Napoli.

According to reports, the 25 year old goalkeeper is wanted by Napoli. The idea appears to be that RULLI would compete with their current goalkeeper Pepe REINA, who has yet to agree on a renewal with the club. According to the report, Napoli have contacted Manchester City regfarding RULLI as City included a buy-back option in his clause when they sold him to Real Sociedad.

RULLI was Argentina’s starting goalkeeper at last year’s Olympics and while has not yet played a match for the senior team, he was called-up by new Argentina National Team coach Jorge SAMPAOLI for the team’s matches against Brazil and Singapore.

The deal for both players is expected to cost €65 million. Though the player did initially resisted the move but it looks it could be done deal within the next two days.

I’m sure there is a lot of money involved in this deal but can’t say that I’m happy about this considering PAREDES is finally getting his shot with the National Team but has chosen to go Russia instead.
