Gerónimo Rulli is set to start for Argentina and Cristian Romero is suspended for the match against Venezuela.

Rulli will be the starting goalkeeper in place of the suspended Emiliano Martínez. With Franco Armani having announced his retirement from the Argentina national team, Rulli will start the World Cup qualifying match against Venezuela on Thursday.

Cristian Romero is also suspended for the match against Venezuela. With no Romero, we could see a centre back partnership of Lisandro Martínez and Nicolás Otamendi.

The Argentina national team trained on Monday night in Miami. They will play Venezuela on Thursday and next Tuesday will play Bolivia.
