Nicolás González scored for Fiorentina in their 3-2 win vs. Atalanta.

González started and scored for Fiorentina in their last match of the season. The Argentine started for Fiorentina and with the score at 1-1, it was a cross into the penalty area and a volley by González who scored to give Fiorentina the 2-1 lead.

The 26 year old has been called up to the Argentina national team for the friendly matches and the provisional Copa America team.

The Argentina national team landed in Florida on Sunday morning and will begin training for the friendly matches and the Copa America.

Players of the Argentina national team and the coaching staff are now in Florida after flying out of Buenos Aires on Saturday night. The team will fully begin training at Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium on Monday.

Lionel Messi will be joining the team on Monday, after playing and scoring for Inter Miami on Saturday.

Alejandro Garnacho will not be going to the Olympics with Argentina as Manchester United are not allowing him.

Garnacho won’t be with Javier Mascherano’s Argentina Olympic team in France. According to Gastón Edul, Manchester United are not allowing Garnacho to participate in the Olympic games.

Clubs are not obligated to release players for the Olympics as it is an U23 tournament.

As we reported, Nicolás Otamendi and Julián Álvarez will be going to the Olympics with Argentina and the AFA are working on trying to get Enzo Fernández and Emiliano Martínez with the team.

The Argentina national team are flying to Miami for the friendly matches in June and the Copa America.

Argentina national team players and coaching staff are on a flight from Buenos Aires to Miami, Florida. The Argentina national team will be based in Miami and train at Inter Miami’s Chase stadium prior to their two friendly matches in June and the Copa America in the United States.

Lionel Scaloni’s team will play on June 9 against Ecuador in Chicago, Illinois at Soldier Field. They will play their last match before the Copa America on June 14 against Guatemala at Commanders Field in Washington, DC.

Scaloni announced his team for the June matches and the preliminary team for the Copa America late last month. Three players from the list will be cut for the Copa America.

With Inter Miami, Lionel Messi scored on Saturday and will remain in Miami.
