Alejandro Garnacho scored for Manchester United in their 3-0 win against Leicester City.

Garnacho made it four goals in the Premier League, to reach nine goals and eight assists for the season in their win. With Manchester United leading 1-0, the ball fell to the Argentine inside the penalty area and he would score off the near post to give Manchester United the 2-0 lead.

The 20 year old has been included in the Argentina national team’s preliminary list for the World Cup qualifiers but he is set to not make the final team for the two matches against Uruguay and Brazil.

Thiago Almada scored his first goal for Lyon in their 4-2 win against Le Havre.

Almada got his first goal in Europe, scoring Lyon’s final goal of the match. With Lyon leading 3-2, it was a pull back into the penalty area which found the Argentine and he scored to give Lyon the 4-2 lead.

Nicolás Tagliafico also started for Lyon and both players are part of the preliminary list for the Argentina national team for their two World Cup qualifying matches against Uruguay and Brazil.

Santiago Castro scores for Bologna in 5-0 win vs. Lazio

Santiago Castro scored for Bologna in their 5-0 win against Lazio.

Castro made it eight goals in Serie A with Bologna and 10 goals the entire season in their win. With Bologna leading 3-0, it was a pass into the penalty area which was controlled by the Argentine and he would dribble around the goalkeeper and score to give Bologna the 4-0 lead.

The 20 year old is part of the preliminary Argentina national team list for the two World Cup qualifying matches against Uruguay and Brazil later this month.

Argentina national team players to arrive in Argentina on Monday for World Cup qualifiers

Argentina national team players will begin arriving to Argentina on Monday for the World Cup qualifiers.

The Argentina national team will play Uruguay on Friday in their first of two World Cup qualifying matches this month. Lionel Scaloni’s team will begin arriving on Monday and will train behind closed doors.

Training sessions will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with Scaloni speaking at a press conference himself on Thursday. The Argentina national team will travel to Montevideo on Thursday for their game on Friday.
