Argentina could play against Honduras and Serbia before the World Cup.
The Argentina national team is negotiating to play against two teams before the World Cup in June. According to Maximiliano Grillo, Argentina are negotiating to play against Honduras on June 6 in Texas and Serbia on June 9 in Alabama.
The Argentina national team trained on Tuesday as coach Lionel Scaloni had all of the players available.

Agustín Giay has been called up to the Argentina national team.

Julián Álvarez has spoken about the World Cup, the Finalissima and the Argentina national team.
Álvarez arrived to Argentina and will be joining the Argentina national team for the two matches against Mauritania and Zambia. The 26 year old spoke to ESPN Argentina and here is what he had to say:
“We are very happy to come back to the country and be together with the group. We would have liked to have played the Finalissima.
“We have to focus on ourselves, to continue to grow as a group and strengthen the idea. Hopefully we can have a great World Cup.
“The group has a good dynamic, we get along well, always good faces, a lot of joy. One always wants to be here representing these colors.”
Gonzalo Montiel is injured and is out of the Argentina national team for the two matches.
Montiel will miss both of the Argentina national team’s matches against Mauritania and Zambia. The 29 year old felt some discomfort in his hamstring following River Plate’s match on Sunday and Montiel is out of the Argentina national team due to the injury.
