Nicolás Tagliafico was substituted into the match for Lyon, it was his first match back since January 22 where he sustained an ankle injury.

The Argentine had already found the net in the 89th minute, but the goal was ruled out for handball after a VAR review. Still, he did not give up. In the final minute of stoppage time, he reacted quickly inside the box after a rebound from the goalkeeper and finished with a right-footed shot to secure the victory.

It was a dramatic moment at the City Ground, as Mac Allister celebrated with his teammates and the traveling fans after delivering three important points.

This was his first Premier League goal in 27 matches. Overall, it was his fourth goal of the season in 37 appearances, along with four assists.
