Otamendi had Benfica’s only goal of the match in their elimination of the Champions League. With FC Barcelona leading 1-0, Benfica were awarded a corner kick and it was the Argentine who leapped up and scored the header.
FC Barcelona would score two more goals to eliminate Benfica from the Champions League.

Soulé made it three goals for AS Roma, getting the goal in their win. The Argentine would score after just 20 seconds into the match, an effort from the edge of the penalty area.
Leandro Paredes also started the match for AS Roma and Paulo Dybala was not in the team.
Enzo Fernández scored for Chelsea in their 2-1 away victory against Copenhagen in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League Round of 16.
The Argentine midfielder came off the bench in the second half, and with his team leading 1-0 in the 65th minute, he received a cut-back pass inside the box and struck it first-time with his right foot, placing it into the back of the net to make it 2-0 for the English club.

Nicolás Tagliafico scored for Olympique Lyonnais in their 3-1 away victory against FCSB in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.
The Argentine left-back opened the scoring for the French team in the 30th minute. Tagliafico received a cross from the right side of the box, attacked the ball, and directed a powerful header across the goal into the back of the net, making it 1-0 for his team.
Argentine midfielder Thiago Almada came off the bench in the 76th minute for Lyon when the match was tied at 1-1. The French side went on to score two more goals, securing a strong advantage ahead of the second leg at home.
