Mateo Klimowicz has joined 2. Bundesliga team Arminia Bielefeld from Stuttgart.

Klimowicz has left Stuttgart and has joined the team on loan. Per César Luis Merlo, it would be a loan deal for one year with no obligation to buy.

The Argentine has undergone his medical and signed the contract. Earlier this year, Klimowicz had turned down a chance to represent the German national team as he is eligible for Argentina.

Still only 22 years old, he was born in Argentina but has represented Germany at youth level, including at the 2021 European U21 championship.

Lucas Ocampos has signed with Ajax and will stay at the club until June 2023.

Ocampos has finally joined the Dutch league champions. After the transfer nearly falling through, the 28 year old has joined on a loan deal from Sevilla.

Ajax gave announced that it’s a loan for one season until June 30, 2023 with an option to buy. Per a report by Marca, Sevilla will get €4 million with Ajax having the option to purchase for €16 million.

Brazil and newly signed Manchester United player Antony praised his former and once more current team mate, Lisandro Martínez.

Antony has joined Martínez at Manchester United, a former team mate of his at Ajax. In his first interview with Manchester United, Antony spoke about the Argentine. Here is what he had to say:

“Martínez has his Argentinian style, we know it well. I love it and it motivates me to see him play. The way he competes, the way he plays and he gives his heart and soul on the pitch. Watching Martínez, I know him well, up close. He’s a great player we can all see, people recognise this. Martínez is a crack.”

Lisandro Martínez has been named as Manchester United’s August Player of the Month.

Martínez has had a great personal start to his Manchester United career. Despite rocky results to start the season for the club, Lisandro has been one of United’s standout players.

The Argentine was named as the Player of the Match in United’s last two matches. The first was the 2-1 win vs. Liverpool and the second a 1-0 win vs. Southampton.

Julián Álvarez scored twice for Manchester City in their 6-0 win vs. Nottingham Forest.

Álvarez got his first two goals in the Premier League in Manchester City’s win. The 22 year old started in his first Premier League match for the league champions and did not disappoint.

With City winning 4-0, it was a pass into Álvarez and his strike would beat the goalkeeper to make it 5-0 for City. The Argentine scored his second of the match after an initial effort was blocked by a defender and his powerful shot went into the roof of the goal.
