Giovanni Simeone scored a hattrick for Verona in their 3-1 vs. Venezia as he reaches 15 goals in Serie A this season.

Simeone has scored for the first time since December 12 vs. Atalanta as he is third in Serie A scoring. Simeone stole the ball from the Venezia defender and dribble into the box. His effort beat Sergio Romero to give Verona the 1-0 lead.

The second goal was a pass into the Argentine and his first time effort took a deflection off the defender and it was enough to get the better of Romero and make it 2-0 for Verona. It was a counter attack with Simeone on the end of it for the third goal. A pass in to the Argentine and his effort made it 3-1 for Verona as they got all three points.

Lucas Alario is regaining form as he scored for Bayer Leverkusen in their 3-1 win vs. Arminia Bielefeld.

Alario is now on three league goals for the season but he has scored for the second consecutive match and his third in five matches.

With the score at 0-0, a cross was sent into the penalty area and with the ball touching the arm of a Leverkusen player, it would fall to the Argentine who score to give Leverkusen the 1-0 lead. He would play the full 90 minutes.

Exequiel Palacios also started the match and played 76 minutes.

Lionel Messi provided two assists to Kylian Mbappe in PSG’s 3-1 win vs. Saint-Etienne as he reached 10 assists in Ligue 1 for the season.

Messi now leads Ligue 1 in assists as the Argentine has provided 10 of them. Going into PSG’s league match against Saint-Etienne, he was on eight assists.

With the score at 0-0, Messi provided a through ball which found Mbappe as he would score to give PSG the 1-0 lead. The seconnd one was a vintage Messi dribble.

The world’s greatest player received the ball and dribbled through Saint-Etienne players as if they weren’t even there before passing it on to Mbappe who scored. That brought Lionel Messi to 10 assists as he leads the league.

Angel Di Maria and Mauro Icardi would both be brought on as substitutes.
