FC Porto interested in Carlos Alcaraz of Racing Club

FC Porto is reportedly interested in Carlos Alcaraz of Racing Club. Per a report from Olé, the following European clubs would be scouting this Argentine young talent: AC Milan, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla, Juventus, Arsenal, Tottenham, Inter, Wolves, PSV and Fiorentina.

According to the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, FC Porto will try to sign Alcaraz in this transfer market. The 19-year-old midfielder has a contract with Racing Club until 2026 and his release clause is $25 million.

Although Racing’s president Victor Blanco had declared the player “non-transferable” before the interest of these clubs, it seems that an offer over the $18 million would be accepted.

Alcaraz is one of the best young talents in Argentine football. At his young age, he has already played 63 matches in the Primera División with “La Academia”, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.

AS Roma and Napoli are both interested in Paulo Dybala.

Paulo Dybala is presently a free agent but cannot seem to sign with a club. The 28 year old has been linked to several clubs in Europe but remains a free agent.

The Argentine is now being linked to both AS Roma and Napoli. Per Gianluca Di Marzio, one of Napoli’s conditions would be that they want 100% of his image rights which appears to be a problem.

Roma’s supposed interest is linked to Zaniolo leaving them club and there are no offers for the Italian player. Pre-season has already started for many clubs with players returning to training.

Ángel Di María scored a ridiculous goal for Juventus in training.

Di María is settling in well with his new club. Having been presented as a Juventus player at a press conference on Monday, he already started training and is scoring.

A cross into the Argentine and in an almost rabona like finish, clips the ball into the roof of the goal. Di María is the second Argentine to score a great goal in training with 17 year old Luka Romero also scoring for Lazio.

Luka Romero has started pre-season with Lazio and scored a great goal in training.

Romero, still only 17 years old, is seen as one for the future of the Argentina national team. Part of Javier Mascherano’s U20 team, Romero was born in Mexico and raised in Spain but has represented Argentina at youth level.

Joining Lazio from Mallorca last season, the Argentine scored a great goal on Tuesday as he looks to impress for this upcoming season. He took part in eight matches in the league last season, all of them as substitutes.

Martín Payero will join Boca Juniors on loan from Middlesbrough.

The 23-year-old central midfielder will arrive in Argentina on Wednesday to do his medical checkup, and sign on a one-year contract with an option to buy with the “Xeneizes”.

The former Talleres de Córdoba, Banfield and Argentina man was part of the Tokyo Olympics. During the 2020-2021 season, he scored one goal in 15 appearances with Middlesbrough, where he even got some acclaim by the “Boro” fans:
