Lionel Messi scored for Inter Miami in their 1-1 draw against Nashville.

Messi reached 900 goals, scoring for Inter Miami in their 1-1 draw in their elimination of the Concacaf Champions Cup.

With the score at 0-0, Messi received the ball inside the penalty area and scored from close range to give Inter Miami the 1-0 lead. Messi has now scored 81 goals with Inter Miami.

At 1-0, the loose ball would fall to Cristian Espinoza of Nashville and he would score to draw Nashville level. That goal would give Nashville the away goal and they would eliminate Inter Miami from the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Facundo Mura, Rodrigo De Paul and Tadeo Allende would also start the match for Inter Miami. Mateo Silvetti was substituted in for Inter Miami.

Julián Álvarez scored and assisted for Atletico Madrid in their 3-2 loss against Tottenham Hotspur.

Álvarez made it eight goals and four assists in 11 Champions League matches for Atletico Madrid. With the tie at 5-2, Tottenham Hotspur took a 1-0 lead in the second leg but it was Julián Álvarez who scored from close range to draw Atletico Madrid level.

With Tottenham Hotspur leading 2-1, Atletico Madrid were awarded a corner kick and it was Julián Álvarez with the cross and David Hancko who would score Atletico Madrid’s second goal of the match.

The Argentine had two goals and one assist in the first leg.

Lautaro Martínez, Franco Mastantuono and Lisandro Martínez all did not make the Argentina national team for the match against Guatemala.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni announced his players for the match against Guatemala on March 31 and Scaloni left out Lautaro Martínez, Franco Mastantuono and Lisandro Martínez.

Lautaro Martínez is still not fit and injured with Inter while Franco Mastantuono has been suspended for Real Madrid after receiving a red card.

Lisandro Martínez is also injured, missing Manchester United’s last four matches with a calf injury.

Juan Musso, Marcos Acuña, Tomás Palacios and Gabriel Rojas have all been called up to the Argentina national team for the match against Guatemala.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has named his team for the friendly match against Guatemala on March 31 and two players are back in the team. Juan Musso has been called up in place of Walter Benítez while Marcos Acuña is back in the team.

Tomás Palacios of Estudiantes de la Plata and Gabriel Rojas of Racing are the two new players that have been called up. Palacios is on loan at Estudiantes from Inter and the 22 year old centre back has played eight matches with the club.

Gabriel Rojas is also called up to the Argentina national team for the first time. The 28 year old left back is a regular for Racing.
