Messi suffered an Achilles tendon injury will miss the next league match vs. Angers. The club reported it on Tuesday and more tests will be done on him in 48 hours.
He has now missed 10 (will be 11 in the next match) league matches with PSG this season. Either be it due to COVID, Argentina national team or injuries.
PSG reportedly want Ángel Di María, Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi out of the club.
With PSG presently having four Argentine players, they reportedly want to only keep Lionel Messi. Per a report by L’EQUIPE, the club want to sell the three players, with rumors and rumors of them wanting Di Maria out of the club for several weeks.
Ángel Di María has been at the club the longest. The Argentine joined in 2015 from Manchester United and has consistently been one of PSG’s better players since joining.
Leandro Paredes joined in 2019 from Zenit Saint Petersburg while Mauro Icardi initially joined the club on loan from Inter before permamnently signing with them two years ago.
Lionel Messi would be the only Argentine player left with rumors that the club could part ways with coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Juventus are interested in Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez of Aston Villa.
Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez is apparently a wanted goalkeeper. Per a report by TyC Sports, Juventus are keeping an eye on the Aston Villa goalkeeper with coach Massimiliano Allegri specifically asking about the Argentine.
The 29 year old has a contract with the club until the 2026-2027 season.
Matías Almeyda is no longer the coach of MLS club San Jose Earthquakes.
Almeyda and San Jose Earthquakes parted ways on Monday. he club announced through a tweet on Monday afternoon that he will no longer be coaching them.
The Argentine joined the Earthquakes back in 2018, spending over three years in the league. He had previously managed River Plate, Banfield and Guadalajara.
