Argentina are rumored to play Mexico in September.

Lionel Scaloni’s team is rumored to play Mexico before the World Cup. As we reported, Argentina will play Italy in June and will play Brazil before Qatar but rumors are circulating that they will play Mexico in the United States.

At the moment, Argentina have two matches next month in the World Cup qualifiers with another two confirmed. The first is a home match against Venezuela with the second away against Ecuador in the last World Cup qualifying match.

There is also a rumor that they will play against an Arab country prior to the World Cup. Here are the matches which have been confirmed with the rumored matches to be played:

Venezuela: March 24, World Cup qualifier
Ecuador: March 29, World Cup qualifier
Italy: June 1, Copa vs. Euro winners
Brazil, middle of June: World Cup qualifier
Mexico: September, friendly
Possible Arab country: Friendly

Álvarez scored his first hattrick of 2022 with three different finishes. The reigning champions of the Argentine Primera were in the Monumental for their first match of the season and they did not disappoint.

The newly signed Manchester City player is still on loan at River Plate until July and after falling behind 1-0 after only six minutes, Álvarez scored three consecutive goals. A cross by Herrera into the penalty area found the Argentine who controlled it and headed the ball to draw River level.

His second goal of the match was from a difficult angle. A pass into the penalty area found the on running forward and his first time finish gave River the lead.

Making a run off the defender’s shoulder, a pass into the area and another first time finish by the 22 year old as he scored his third of the match.

Leandro Paredes had a great match as Angel Di Maria reached a PSG milestone in their 1-0 win vs. Real Madrid.

Paredes was one of the best players on the pitch for PSG. The Argentine had 123 touches, the most out of any player in the match. He also had 106 accurrate passes, again, the most in the match.

But he also had the most accurate passes in Real Madrid’s half with 72 of them. And according to Sofa Score, he had 12 recoveries, the most out of any player.

Angel Di María played match number 285 for PSG. He joined Joël Bats in the all time rankings for the club in 13th place. He is 5 behind Éric Renaut, 10 behind Matuidi and 16 behind Cavani who is three spots ahead of him all time.

Argentina FA to appeal FIFA’s suspension decisions on suspended match vs. Brazil

Claudio Tapia, the president of the Argentina FA has stated that they will be appealing FIFA’s decision.

The World Cup qualifying match between Argentina and Brazil from last year was stopped after five minutes. FIFA announced on Monday that both FA’s will be fined and four Argentine players who were all based in the Premier League would be suspended for two games each.

Tapia tweeted out that he promises he will do all of the necessary efforts and he will appeal FIFA’s decision.

Argentina against Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers will be replayed as four Argentine players are suspended.

The World Cup qualifying match between Argentina and Brazil which was suspended will be replayed but at a later date. The match was stopped after only just minutes following Brazilian officials storming the pitch.

An announcement was made by FIFA which stated that it will be replayed and at in a neutral venue. Both the Argentine and Brazilian FA’s have been fined.

Lionel Scaloni will not be able to count on four Argentine players for two matches as Cristian Romero, Emiliano Martinez, Emiliano Buendia and Gio Lo Celso are all suspended for two matches each. Those are four players which were all based in the Premier League when that match took place.
