Lionel Messi scored two goals from long range for Barcelona in their 4-1 win vs. Huesca.

Messi continued his long range efforts after scoring a marvelous strike vs. PSG, this time against Huesca as he helped Barcelona in their win. He would give Barcelona the 1-0 lead in the first half as his shot would strike the crossbar and go in for his 20th goal of the league season.

Barcelona would add one more with another great strike by Griezmann and Huesca would close the gap at 2-1 going into half time. Early in the second half, Lionel would get his seventh assist off a cross to Mingueza who would score.

Angel Di Maria’s home broken into, family present

Angel Di Maria’s home was broken into on Sunday night with his wife and two daughters present.

Di Maria was substituted out of PSG’s game on Sunday night by PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino with Pochettino seen walking down the tunnel with the player. Reports out of France confirmed that there was a robbery at his residence.

A report by RMC Sport in France states that the thieves broke into Di Maria’s home through a sports room he has in his basement. They then took an elevator to the second floor where they stole €500,000 worth of jewelry and watches. Di Maria’s wife and two children were on the main floor but did not see the robbers.

This would not be the first time that Di Maria’s house has been broken into. A similar situation occured while he was playing with Manchester United.

Unfortunately, Di Maria’s house wasn’t the only one broken into. Team mate Marquinhos had his parents’ house broken into where thinga reportedly got very violent.

Our thoughts are with both families during this difficult time.

Erik Lamela scored a rabona goal for Tottenham but also got red carded in their 2-1 loss vs. Arsenal.

Lamela went from hero to villain for Jose Mourinho’s team. Starting the match on the bench, Lamela would be substituted on as Son would get injured in the first half. While Arsenal had the better chances at 0-0, it was Tottenham who got the first goal. Lamela would receive the ball inside the penalty area and with quick thinking was able to pull off a rabona as the Argentine scored to give Tottenham the 1-0 lead.

However, the second half would bring different emotions. Two yellow cards would see him get red carded.

Lautaro Martinez scored the second goal for Inter in their 2-1 win vs. Torino.

Martinez came out clutch for Inter. With the score at 1-1 and with five minutes left in the match, a cross found Lautaro Martinez who would head the ball into the net to give Inter the 2-1 lead. His goal would end up being the match winner.

The Argentine is now on 14 league goals for the season in 27 matches. His winner means that Inter are nine points ahead of rivals Milan as league leaders.

Sergio Aguero scores first Premier League goal for Manchester City in 14 months

Sergio Aguero scored his first goal for Manchester City in 14 months in their 3-0 win vs. Fullham.

Aguero has been struggling with injuries for the better part of a year and has found himself on the sidelines for most of this season but that looks to be behind him. It was 2-0 for Manchester City as they were awarded a penalty.

The captain would step up and while the goalkeeper nearly saved it, the Argentine managed to score. Wearing the captain’s armband, that goal was his first of the season having played in 8 matches. Aguero took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support.
