Cristian Romero is set to join Atalanta on loan from Juventus.

Per a report by Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached for Romero to go on loan with an option to buy. The 22 year old center back signed with Juventus last year but went out on loan to Genoa.

Gonzalo Escalante will be starting the season with his new club Lazio.

After having signed with them back in January, the 27 year old midfielder joins them from La Liga club Eibar. He put pen to paper on a four year deal after having spent five seasons in Spain.

This would be Escalante’s second stint in Spain after having previously played for Catania.

Pity Martinez of Atlanta United is set to join Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Per a report by The Athletic, Atlanta United have agreed to terms with Al-Nassr to sell the Argentine. According to the report, the transfer is pending a medical and for Pity to agree to personal terms. The fee is of $18 million. Still only 27 years old, Pity joined for a league club record fee of $15.9 million last year.

The former Huracan and River Plate man joined Atlanta United last year and has already played for the Argentina national team.

Leeds United are repotedly intersted in Rodrigo de Paul of Udinese.

Marcelo Bielsa’s first season in the Premier League could see him bring in an Argentine. Per a report by Fabrizio Romano, the newly promoted team are looking to bring in the 26 year old.

With a price tag of around €30-35 million, de Paul has been with Udinese since 2016 and this would be his first Premier League team.

Emiliano Martinez is now a Community Shield champion after Arsenal’s 1-1 but 5-4 win on penalties against Liverpool.

After helping Arsenal win the FA Cup, the Argentina goalkeeper has won Arsenal’s first trophy of the season. Arsenal took a 1-0 lead but Liverpool would draw level taking the match to penalty kicks.

Arsenal would go on to win 5-4 after Liverpool had missed their third penalty in the shootout.
