Emiliano Martinez, Emiliano Buendia available for two matches for Argentina in September

Emiliano Martinez and Emiliano Buendia are both travelling with the Argentina national team but would only be available for two of the three matches.

Martinez had already tweeted out that he is travelling to be with the Argentina team but there was nothing regarding Buendia. Aston Villa have released a statement saying that both players are travelling for the September matches with the club’s permission.

However, both players would only be available for the first two World Cup qualifying matches. That means that they would be able to play against Venezuela and Brazil but would not be available for the third match against Bolivia.

For Argentina, that means 19 of the 30 players called-up to the squad are available.

La Liga must release their players for the South American World Cup qualifiers in September.

While the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Portuguese league decided to not release their players, one of them will be forced to. A decision has been made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) which has ruled in favor of FIFA, meaning that the players must be released.

As we reported on Saturday, Emiliano Martinez has confirmed that he will be travelling to Argentina. In addition to him, we now know that the Argentine players in La Liga will also be joining the team. There are nine Argentine players in La Liga, seven of which won the Copa America. The following players are in La Liga:

Nicolas Gonzalez scored his first goal of the season for Fiorentina in their 2-1 win sv. Torino.

Gonzalez scored his first goal for his new club, the first one of the match. The Argentine Copa America winner received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and a left footed shot gave Fiorentina the 1-0 lead.

Lucas Martinez Quarta also started the match played the full 90 minutes while Gonzalez was substituted off with five minutes remaining.

Emiliano Martinez has stated that he will be playing for Argentina, despite the restriction put in place by the Premier League.

There have been rumors that the Argentine players in the Premier League, that ia to say Emiliano Martinez, Emiliano Buendia, Cristian Romero and Gio Lo Celso, will travel and take part in the matches.

Martinez took to his social media pages following Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw and mentioned that he will be with the Argentina team. Martinez tweeted and wrote on his Instagram the following:

Buendia got his first goal for his new club as Emiliano Martinez also started for Villa. Joining them from Norwich City, last season’s Championship Player of the Season scored a great goal to draw Villa level.

It was 1-0 for Brentford as Buendia received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable shot for Villa’s only goal of the match.

Both Emiliano Martinez and Emiliano Buendia have been called-up to the Argentina national team.
