Paulo Dybala is not expected to renew his contract with Juventus as he would become a free agent in June.

Dybala was expected to renew his contract, which expires on June 30, 2022 but according to several reports out of Argentina and Italy, the 28 year old will be playing elsewhere next year. According to César Luis Merlo, unless something radical changes in the situation, Dybala won’t remain with Juventus as he is upset that the club have changed the conditions for his new deal.

The Argentine joined them back in 2015 from Palermo. His best individual season season at the club was in 2017-2018 where he scored 26 goals in 46 matches with 22 of them coming in the league. He finished last season with five goals in 26 matches, four of them in 20 league matches.

He is presently on nine goals in 20 matches, six in the league in 15 matches and three in the Champions League. He is expected to be called up to the Argentina national team this month.

Paulo Dybala and Matias Soule have both been called up to the Argentina national team.

Dybala and Soule are the latest names to be included in the Argentina team. According to a tweet by Gaston Edul, the two players from Juventus will make the team for the January and February World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Lionel Scaloni is set to announce his Argentina team at the end of the week with several changes expected to be made to the team. With Argentina having already qualified to the World Cup, Scaloni is set to include local based players. Along with Dybala and Soule, Facundo Medina, Gio Simeone, Juan Foyth, Nahuel Molina and Nehuen Perez will all also be called up.

Medina is the latest to reportedly be called back into the Argentina. Per a tweet by Gaston Edul, the 22 year old defender will be included in coach Lionel Scaloni’s list for the next World Cup qualifying matches.

Several other players have been called to the team as coach Lionel Scaloni is set to announce his squad by the end of this week. Here are the names that are set to be announced:

Gio Simeone
Juan Foyth
Nahuel Molina
Nehuen Perez

With those names, Paulo Dybala and Matias Soule are also strongly rumored to be called up.

Lionel Messi is unlikely to be called to the Argentina national team for the World Cup qualifiers.

Messi is expected to miss the January and February World Cup qualifying matches for Argentina. As we reported last week, coach Lionel Scaloni is set to make several changes to the team for the upcoming qualifiers. One of them is leaving Messi out of the team.

Scaloni and his staff have reportedly spoken to Messi regarding the possibility of not calling him up for the matches against Chile and Colombia. Messi’s response was reportedly to give him a few days to decide. According to reports out of France, Messi’s answer is to be rested and remain with PSG for those matches.

The Argentina coach is set to announce his list of players by the end of this week and we already have a few names that have been confirmed. Verona have already tweeted out that Gio Simeone has been called up to the team while Udinese have tweeted that Nahuel Molina and Nehuen Perez have also been called up.
