Mauro ICARDI struck again while Christian PAVON added two assists to his name.
Despite being absolutely on fire, Mauro ICARDI has reportedly been told that he will not be going to the World Cup with Argentina. Yet that hasn’t stopped the Inter man from scoring. This time ICARDI added a third goal for Inter in their 4-0 win away to Udinese.
The number 9 scored in first half injury time which all but sealed the victory and the three points for his club. It was goal number 28 for Mauro ICARDI in Serie A this season which makes him Inter’s highest goalscorer in a single season since Antonio ANGELILO in 1959!
From someone who will not be going to the World Cup to someone who is very likely going to be on the plane with Argentina, Cristian PAVON continues to add to his impressive run of form. The Boca Juniors man had two assists in Boca’s 2-0 win against Union.
Two different style passes from PAVON. The first a pass sent in from out wide which went across the back line and onto the feet of Ramon “Wanchope” ABILA. The second a run across the edge of the area and a pass in to ABILA once more.
