Julián Álvarez scored for Manchester City in their 2-0 win vs. Chelsea.
Álvarez has reached seven goals this season for Manchester City as he has now scored in four different competitions. With Manchester City leading 1-0, it was a shot on target which was saved by the goalkeeper but the 21 year old would get to the rebound and scored.
The Argentine is the first player for Manchester City to score in four different competitions this season. He is part of Argentina’s preliminary team for the 2022 World Cup.

Thirteen days to go and Julian is on fire, thanks to Pep giving him change to play
The comparison to Kun is not really forced. Alvarez presses more but the way he dribbles and shoots is similar. He even scored few goals by blasting to the roof of the net, which was one of Kuns trademark goals.
See goal against Fullham

And of course the more obvious, not only is he a city player but he does the same goal celebration “I Love You” hand gesture. 🙂
Our forwards are definitely in red-hot form right before world cup. Now they need to slow down a bit in group stage, and then show their best in KO stage.
