Rodrigo De Paul posted an encouraging message on Instagram with an update on his situation.

De Paul made the headlines on Wednesday as he did not train with the Argentina national team. He instead did kinesiology work.

The Argentine took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to post that all is well. According to Gastón Edul, De Paul will start the training session with Argentina on Thursday but more tests and a decision is expected to be made tomorrow.

  2. Without De Paul we wont make it. He is the engine room of Scaloni. A tireless player, Cant replace a player like him. I just hope we somehow make it. But if both De Paul and Di maria are not starting then the chances are extremely glim. Fingers crossed on fitness of these 2.

    Mateo Lahoz will be the ref for our game against Netherlands. Of all the refs they could name they named that one SOB who fuvked messi the most in his career. Lahoz is a drama queen and he will intentionally make the game his own, meaning he will be the center of attention in this match. He will make all the wrong calls and will card for minimal bitching. It’s almost a certainty that Montiel will get a red if Lahoz is the ref.

    • Yes he has a pretty bad history with Messi.

      I believe he “applogized” after disallowing a title changing goal from Leo in 2014 that caused Barca to lose the league.

      Yes, this all very true about this referee so specially Arg players as naturally Spanish speaking would have to be extremly carefull with this referee with not only their mouth’s, but also with their actions as this referee can be and most certainly will be a hell on earth ! But, also Arg can not and offcourse they will or can not really change anything else than, perhaps be pre-cautious with their mouths and not to get involded in any drama as i think Dutch may use this referee named now for the game as advantage, anyhow never matter the opponent nor the referee Arg will not be affraid of any team or any referee, but our dear FIFA could had given this referee for example BRAZIL VS CROATIA, but offcourse they did not as now named the referee for ARGENTINA VS NETHERLANDS he could had handed also PORTUGAL VS MOROCCO or FRANCE VS ENGLAND, but our dear FIFA has decided off offcourse as naturally from FIFA as they allways decide to do, which is obviously the way FIFA want’s things to progress etc…

  12. We need him. Period. Scaloni’s strategy is rooted in teammanship, dedication and warriorship and not really based on great footballing sense. He needs De Paul.
